Experienced & Compassionate!
Pet care experience
Greetings! If you’re looking for a sitter who creates memorable experiences and a home away from home for your furry family member, look no further. I’ve fostered dogs with organizations such as LovePup and have been pet sitting for over 8 years. My goal is to make sure your pet has fun and feels just as comfortable with me as they do when they when they are at home. Please feel free to ask me questions! I’ve spent a lot of time making sure my home is incredibly comfortable not only for myself, but also for guests of all sizes. I want to make sure your animal does not have any disruption to set rules and boundaries you have instilled, so please let me know what is allowed in your home and so I can follow the same rules in my own. I also make sure all my clients get daily updates, so you know exactly what your pets are doing during the day. Photos, photos, photos!

We love Jacqueline! Rosie gets so excited when we pull up to her green gates and runs right in. She keeps us updated and sends cute/funny pics and videos. We know she’s safe and comfortable there!
Jacqueline has been dog sitting my Lukester for over 4 years now! I literally could not ask for a more attentive, loving dog sitter. Luke actually stayed with Jacqueline for 3 whole weeks during the COVID shutdown when I needed to rush back to my midwestern home town in order to be with family last minute. Jacqueline did not hesitate whatsoever to keep Luke at her house & constantly kept me updated with the most adorable photos & videos. <3 Jacqueline was the first person that I trusted to look after Luke (aside from the vet) & now she is the only person I utilize as a sitter/walker/etc. I can't even say "Jackie" at my house without Luke excitedly running to the door/window! That's how you know she is the absolute best. :)
You wouldn’t think that staying with a stranger would be therapeutic for our super-anxious little pup Sadie, but a couple weeks with Jacqueline have actually helped her a lot! Jacqueline is very kind, thoughtful, and communicative; she sent photos and videos every single day and was always wonderful to talk to! We will definitely ask Jacqueline to take care of Sadie the next time we’re out of town!
Jacqueline has cared for my dog for over two years now whenever I am out of town. She is the best. I am very protective over my dog and always feel so comfortable handing him over to spend time with Jacqueline. Whenever my dog stays with her I know he is in good hands and she treats him just as her own.

I’m an easy going gal. I will never cancel or no show. Your animals will have a ton of one-on-one time with me lounging, engaging in playtime, and/or going on walks at minimum twice a day for 40+ minutes each time. Once the cooler weather hits, you can’t keep me indoors, so expect a lot of outdoor pictures! Safety is my priority so please know your pet’s well being is my top concern.

Information Jacqueline Z. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any allergies, medical needs, or severe separate anxiety so I can appropriately assess and accommodate their needs. I am able to provide a crate for dogs that are crate trained and enjoy personal time to themselves. All dogs must be current on vaccinations for Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella (kennel cough). Cats must be current with the Rabies vaccine and the combination vaccine FVRCP. Please provide a copy of the veterinarian records prior to boarding. Vaccinations must be given to pet at least two weeks before visit to ensure proper protection. Prescription medications must be provided in the original container with the veterinarian’s instructions. Thank you!
A typical day
I generally start my day off with an early morning 30-45 min walk around my neighborhood, followed by breakfast and a little bit of morning playtime. I work from home and take breaks to check in on the dog I am watching. If it is not too hot, I’ll go on a 2nd walk or engage in indoor or outside activities such as throwing balls or tug of war. If your dog gets along with other dogs I like to frequent Indian Steele Park so dogs can sniff to their hearts content. I also have a fenced yard that is perfect to sun bathe in throughout the day.

Availability
I work a hybrid/remote schedule, but work 10 mins away, so I am able to drop in frequently if I get called into the office. I make sure all animals are well fed, walked, and comfortable before I leave the house. If your dog is unable to be left unattended I can provide a dog crate for their safety and comfortability. Otherwise I allow dogs to free roam in my home.
