Pet care experience
Lifetime nurturer of all things animal 🧚♀️💗 . I enjoy nature and exploring in the company of doggos. Animals with special needs have a particularly special place in my heart, and have conditioned me to be the loving, patient and caring human I am today. I have experience working in an animal hospital as veterinary assistant and am very attentive to the safety and well-being of our curious-minded animal companions. I am a current employee of Portland’s highly rated EC Petcare, and here to take on some extra gigs this summer.

Thank you so much for taking excellent care of Bosco! He was in great hands and we appreciated you going above and beyond to coordinate with his vet and send sweet updates every day.
Jaqueline did a great job and the kitties seemed to really like her.
Jacqueline is a great communicator, really knows how to work with dogs, and just super sweet with pets. I trust her to work with my dog with patience and kindness. I’ll definitely be hiring her again when I need a dog walker.
Jackie is the best! Our pup Oakley was rescued at 6 months and has had people and dog reactivity for the past few years. It’s always a process when introducing him to new people, and finding someone we can trust with our fur baby is always challenging. Jackie has a lot of experience with reactive dogs, and she was incredibly patient the first time she met Oakley. Aside from the knowledge it takes to build a relationship with a reactive dog (Jackie and Oakley are now best buds), Jackie is also a great communicator, always on time, and never forces Oakley to do anything he doesn’t want to do. She’s able to read his body language and avoid triggers, and has a calm personality which helps him stay relaxed too. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Jackie, and we know Oakley feels the same way!

I live in a single standing home, walking distance from 2 parks. If your dog is social, I would love love love to take them with me everywhere I can, like dog parks, the beach, restaurant patios, etc. And if not, that’s okay!! I am just as happy being a homebody with them or strolling our own private path. If boarding, I only focus on one family at a time to ensure your pets are safe and comfortable. I do share my home with 3 loving cats and my partner Cody, so if interested in boarding, hopefully your fur babe{s} get along with the feline and male species :)

For dogs, we’ll enjoy walks through the lovely neighborhood streets, hikes and fetch at parks for the active ones. For the kittos, peek-a-boo games and tickler chases. Mental and physical activities for all!

I am able to provide daily pet care, and available 24/7 unless out of town, in which case would be marked as unavailable for pet sitting on my Rover calendar
