Hey y’all! To say I love dogs is an understatement! I’m that person who gets unexplainably giddy when I see a dog and I’m always willing to give tummy scratches. I never need an apology for an excited dog jumping on me, because it is just a great excuse to hug a dog. I am someone who wants to dedicate their lives to animals. I have completed 60 credit hours towards a bachelors degree in animal science, in which I have taken numerous applicable classes. I have taken general knowledge classes on livestock and companion animals, as well as behavior classes and husbandry classes. I have tons of hands on experience with everything from dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and geckos to sheep, pigs, and cows. I put my animal science degree on hold to get my veterinary technician degree, so I can start working with animals immediately. I have experience with subcutaneous injections and oral medicine. I have supervised highly anxious dogs and couch potatoes. I love them all. I don’t mind if we are couch potatoes or if we go on daily walks to burn our energy, I’m okay with it all! I, myself, enjoy being on the water, going to the beach, hiking, fishing, reading, and making unnecessary bandanas for my dog. My house is dog proof as I have a wrecking ball of a dog and I don’t mind if yours can clear whole tables with their tail.
