Aloha! I am a farm girl frim Portland, OR who has raised dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, pigs, goats, and horses! I can handle your animal (as long as S/he is not overly aggressive). I do have a 10 year old kitty whose lived with me her whole life, and her mother before her. She tolerates non aggressive dogs for house sitting. My yard is big enough for a dog to run, and three other dogs (2 small and one black lab) share the property. Two giant tortoises live here as well. If your animal is well socialized, s/he will be comfortable here, and even make new friends. When housesitting, I take great care to leave no trace, other than a happy animal. You can enjoy your time away knowing your home and animal will be well loved.
