I have extensive experience working in small animal veterinary hospitals, emergency clinics; and exotic animal keeping at a zoo. I am also a licensed wildlife rehabilitator through Nature’s Nursery in Whitehouse, OH. My work experience has given me skills like catching an animal who doesn’t want to be caught, and successfully putting a pill down an angry cat or dog’s throat. I started pet sitting for friends and family 10 years ago and now have clients with animals who have medical issues that require observation for signs of distress or illness, individualized care, and various oral and injectable medications. I also have experience working with troubled rescue and fear aggressive dogs. Additionally, I have the supplies and ability to groom both dogs and cats. Some of my favorite clients include Stanley the pot-bellied pig, Finely the arctic fox, Violet the beta fish, Fluffers and Crystal the domestic rats, and Sunflower the ball python.
