Hi, my name is Jackie, a recent law school grad and an animal lover through and through. I am experienced at handling dogs of all sizes, age, and temperaments. It is important to me that your pet is safe, comfortable, and gets lots of love while they are in my care. I recently reactivated my Rover Pet Sitter account and am ready to accept new clients for dog walking and drop-in visits. Prior to law school, I was a very active pet sitter here on Rover and enjoyed meeting new four-legged friends. Excited to make your acquaintance soon! I am lucky to own two sweet pups: An 11-year-old Samoyed named Simba and a 3-year-old Malamute named Theo. I’ve loved and cared for both since they were 8 weeks old. They and my past clients have taught me a lot about how to be a patient and reliable caregiver for animals.

Jacqueline was great. She took my dog Parker out for walks longer than needed and also took him to the dog park after their walk! She goes beyond and i loved the pictures she took as well!(:
She is my go to for pet sitting/boarding. She updated me with pictures and videos during Charlies stay. She has helped me 2 times when last minute emergencies come up. Highly recommended!

To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for your pet, please consider letting me know if your dog: -Is not house trained, -Does not socialize well with other dogs/people/children, -Is a strong puller when on leash, -Does not like car rides, -Has triggers (fireworks, loud sounds, squirrels, birds, etc.) -Has any other behavioral issues This is a no judgement zone in terms of pet behavior but being candid about any limitations/concerns allows us to create a routine your pet will thrive in!
A typical day
From experience, I know our four-legged-friends tend to enjoy long walks, stimulating environments, and play time. Over the last 11 years of owning two high energy dogs, I've gotten to know many beautiful walking trails in the Chicago-land area where your pet and I will enjoy some quality time and exercise during their stay. As someone who enjoys taking photographs, it isn't uncommon for me to have small impromptu photoshoots with your pet during our walks! Dogs are the cutest models! If your dog's mobility is limited or they enjoy a routine of less exercise, please let me know and we will find other activities that engage your pet while they are in my care.
