Hi! My name is Jacqueline (Jackie) and I grew up in an animal loving family with a variety of pets. Since then, I have enjoyed providing pets with the love and care they deserve when their parents are away. I understand that pets are family members, and I know how hard it can be to be away from loved ones. It brings me great joy to treat my clients’ pets like they’re my own, and you can count on me to be reliable, responsive, and detail oriented. I’m a nature loving, fit and healthy person who is an avid hiker, so I’m a great choice for folks with active dogs that require plenty of exercise. I am also a safe haven for special needs dogs that require sensitive and patient caretaking. I have experience with a variety of breeds, puppy training and daycare, as well as elderly dogs. My goal as a sitter is to put my clients at ease with elevated care, and to celebrate their fur babies as the unique & precious creatures they are ❤️

We have a new rescue dog that is very anxious around other dogs and some people too. We have only used a kennel in the past when we traveled, so we were in a quandary as to what to do with our anxious pup. Some acquaintances suggested Rover.com, and we fortunately found Jacqueline. Her profile and experience really impressed us, and so we set up a meet and greet. Jacqueline is a wonderful and calm person who knows how to handle anxious dogs! She made a safe haven for our pup and he was in heaven, being pampered with complete and utter attention at all times. She also was in constant touch with us, supplying updates, pictures and videos, which gave us peace of mind while we were away...something our kennel had never done for us before. We cannot recommend Jacqueline enough, and we are thrilled and honored to be able to request and use her services in the future!

A typical day
I live on a property that has a beautiful open meadow and a dog park, which is a fun option if your dog likes playing with others. One of my favorite local walks is the bay trail along Corte Madera Creek, which is frequented by just as many dogs as humans! I am a musician and I often sing, jam, and plug into studio sessions from home. In my experience, animals enjoy being around live music, but if your pup is extra sensitive to musical noise, just let me know.

Availability
Currently, I don’t have pets of my own and my schedule is flexible to accommodate your pet care needs. I typically walk for exercise 1-2 hours per day, and am happy to include your dog in any amount of movement that’s right for them and their breed.
