I grew up in New Zealand with two Black Labs named Lucky and Rascal and a King Charles Spaniel named Rex our family had brought from Hong Kong. Rex was a rescue and the labs we paid minimally for and got from a neighbor. I am an animal lover and a vegetarian. My favorite animals are dogs but I believe I am partial simply because that is the kind of animal I have owned myself. I have also cared for cats, guinea pigs, rabbits and fish and feel I would care for any animal with love, attention and meeting basic needs. I also love exercising so I love walking dogs and understand their need to get out and about and I guarantee I would treat your dog with the love I would treat my own. It would be an honor to look after your dog and meet his/her needs when you are unable to commit to the time needed to do so. Jackie is a wonderful, competent individual who will probably have 1:1 conversations with your dog while on a walk. She’ll probably ask him/her how their day has been and what they would prefer instead a bowl of dog chow. Of course, if dog food is the only thing on the menu, then alternative options ultimately won’t be presented. I have seen her love for animals through fostering a puppy for several months in Upper West side Manhattan a few years ago. This puppy lab was well taken care of, and I’m sure she’ll extend the same love & care to your dog(s).
I know Jacqueline for many years and she recommended herself as a helpful and kind friend. Unfortunately I'm not good as a writer to describe how nice and caring she is . She has never been indifferent to people, nature and animals. She is beautiful girl inside and out. And I can't think of a better person for this job.
Jackie is a very responsible, very active dog-lover who I would recommend to anyone as such. She often walked our Westie for a while this summer when we needed a walker in a pinch, and was perfect for the job. Emma, the dog, would always come home happy and worn out. If you're looking for the perfect person to care for your pet, look no further - you've found her!
