*** Update *** I am Jon, Jackie's grandson. Unfortunately Grandma Jackie passed away a couple of years ago. Seeing how we started this together almost nine years ago, I have continued to sit dogs in her memory. *** Update *** I am Grandma Jackie a retired senior citizen. I have had dogs and cats all of my life. Two years ago my 15yr old shepherd/lab went to doggie heaven leaving me with my 12 yr. old kitty. Six months ago, he was diagnosed with a large mass and six weeks later, it was time for him to join his pal in heaven. I miss them both terribly so have decided to care for other peoples pets when needed. There are no cages at Grandma's, there is total freedom of the house and large fenced backyard for playing and exercising. There are lots of hugs and petting and fun. Grandma Jackie and grandson Jon. Why I love dog sitting I have had a dog since I was 13ys old, have had 2 Cocker Spaniels, 2 German shepherd mixes. They were all trained by me. Never had house breaking problem or lost a dog About my yard Backyard is chain link fenced, gate locked. Flat terrain, grass, trees. My experience administering medication Yes as long as client informs me how it is given. Some dogs require it to be in with food or a treat. I'm currently on disability so I am always home to spend time with the pups. I try to be available whenever possible to take care of them. I have a large fenced in back yard and a friendly retriever to keep them company and play with. The have free reign of the house as well.
