Pet care experience
Hi, I'm Jacqueline and I've been a sitter on Rover for a little over a year. We have used Rover to find boarding for our dogs though, and that's been a huge help! I thought it would be fun to help care for other dogs and cats since I enjoy taking care of them, but I currently can't have a pet where I live. I do provide care and services for my family members when they are out of town when I'm available. I have had pets of all kinds for my entire life, and I've always taken care of them. We have owned dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes...and of course they have all had various temperaments and needs. I absolutely love walking, playing, cuddling (if they like to), and spending time with animals. I take walks each day, and I love taking dogs with me on neighborhood walks or hikes in nature. I'm dependable and enjoy finding ways to connect with each dog and cat that I take care of. I treat them with the same love, care, and attention as I would treat my own pets. I can't wait to help you with your furry babies!

Jacqueline is by far the best pet and housesitter, I have ever found! She is wonderful to work, amazingly reliable, has fantastic communication skills. My cat, who is very shy, loved Jacqueline and was so well cared for! And I’ve never had a sitter take such excellent care of my house and make sure everything was perfect for our return. I cannot recommend Jacqueline highly enough, and will certainly use her again and again.

We have always had fenced in outdoor yard areas for our dogs at our homes. They always had access to the inside of our home whether we were there or not. Safety is always important to me, and I would make sure that I am respectful of your care instructions and procedures at your home. At this time, I am unable to host a pet in my home.

Knowing as much about any particular special needs that your pet has helps me take care of them in the best way possible. It's also beneficial to know about any aggression, anxiety, and social behaviors that will help me determine what activities will be right for your pet and how to support them. Allergy and medication information is important to have as well.
A typical day
Most pets enjoy playing with their toys! I love to play catch or engage in games with any toys that are their favorites. If there are special tricks that I know your pet loves to perform, I will reinforce them to provide the mental stimulation they need. I think their physical needs are important as well. There are many parks that I love to visit with dogs such as Discovery Park and Green Lake Park.

I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule during the summer since I am a teacher. During the school year, I will be more available in the evenings and weekends.
