Aside from taking care of my own pets for 6+ years. I have done dog and house sitting for people in my community. I’ve learned from observing dogs and realized that they are smarter and more communicative than the credit they receive. Like people, they love exploring surroundings as long as the sense of safety and trust is not at risk. So that helped me understand dogs but yes, I’m aware every dog is different. Therefore, I learned to be receptive to dogs’ unique cues, and I honor their routines to ensure their needs are met while I earn their trust. I'm kind yet firm giving commands to ensure we get to where we are going. And I show love with belly rubs and playtime! If your dog is social (also spayed/ neutered) I can easily look after your dog while I take care of mine. Social life is healthy for dogs too. If your dog is not social, no worries, I’ll make time for their solo walk, just let me know if they don’t like to make new friends so I can protect their personal Spence.
