Pet care experience
I’ve had years of pet care experience with various types of dogs. I grew up with and helped train our family dog, was a regular pet sitter for busy families who didn’t want to send their dog to boarding. And more recently helped my parents & friends raise new dogs throughout 2020.

We had a great experience working with Jacqueline! My pup Bear stayed with her for a long weekend while we were out of town - it was our first time leaving him with someone since before COVID which could have been nerve-wracking, but it wasn't at all. She was so responsive and sent lots of cute pictures and updates so I felt confident Bear was in good hands. We'll absolutely be using her services again!
Jacqueline has always been an animal lover and growing up with our family Brittany, chestnut she was alway amazing. Gentle, loving and caring, she always was responsible for caring for Chestnut. She also participated in all training lessons we had with chestnut. Very attentive and learning how to train and guide dogs safely. She would be an excellent choice to take care of your pet no doubt. Jackie has been a wonderful help walking our large golden doodle and rescue Lab mix. They enjoy her company and trust her, as do we! She is very responsible and loves dogs.
Jacqueline is a great pet parent. Both of my golden-doodles love her. Whenever she is around, she loves taking Tucker (6 years) and Ollie (4 months) on walks and playing with them. She is also great with my sister's foster dog (Addi) who has a lot of anxiety with strangers. I would trust Jacqueline to take care of my dogs any day I needed them walked, or for any extended period if I had to travel like I used to for work.

I live in a larger 1 bedroom apartment with a balcony so your dog can get some fresh air and sun during the day if they want! Dogs will never by unsupervised on balcony. The building does have an elevator, however I’m on the 6th floor so stairs are accessible too. I live in a dog friendly building with lots of other friendly dogs! Please keep that in mind if your pet is shy.

Please let me know about your dogs behaviors. Are they potty trained? Are they crate trained? Can they be left alone for a few hours? Detailed instructions on how to best care for your dog are always appreciated! I always want to make sure I provide the best care while you're away. Please be prepared to bring all necessary items with you if boarding (food, bed, favorite toy, collar, leash/ harness, any medications etc.) Note I cannot care for reactive dogs as I live in a dog friendly building and we will encounter other dogs in close quarters such as the elevator.
A typical day
Typical days will include daily walks, twice daily if my schedule allows. I live a short 10 minute walk from a park where we can play.

Availability
Currently working in a hybrid environment where I’m in the office some days and others at home. Typically I’m in the office Monday- Thursday and working from home Friday. However if you’re booking ahead of time I can make my schedule more flexible and be at home on other days. Days I’m at home I’ll have plenty of time to take your dog out for walks during the day, and playtime in the evening.
