Stay at home mom available!

Pet care experience

Hi! I am a stay at home mom with a 2 year old doggy loving toddler. We’d love to take care of your pups! I have had dogs since I was about 22. At that time, had a young female lab and then adopted a rescue male lab we took from an abusive household. They were so much fun, I loved them very much. They loved the beach & swimming, I would run up and down the dock with them as they swam next to me! We took them everywhere with us. Our beloved Boston Terrier, Winston, passed away last year. I miss him dearly. I learned so much from taking care of him for 13 years as he was diagnosed with epilepsy around 2 years old, the vets said he wouldn't live...but we made it to a good old age and lots of happy memories ? We live in Queen Anne and have a house with a big fenced yard. I have doggy sat for my friends while they were on vacation, and always welcomed friends to bring theirs over when visiting. I threw Winston a birthday puppy party one year, where I think we had 7+ dogs running around!! I have to give Winston his pills every 12 hours, and couldn’t skip a beat. So I am good in emergency situations, and very aware when something seems off with a dog. I guess I've developed a heightened sense over the years. Our 2 year old son is a “no fear” doggy lover, and perhaps he remembers a bit of the time he got to spend with Winston. ❤️ He absolutely loves all dogs, jisses, and knows how to be gentle. He’s about as good as it gets with toddlers and dogs - everyone is happy! ? I’m very watchful too and take a lot of care to make sure every pup is comfortable and adjust the situation as needed. As you can probably tell by now, I love dogs and take great care of them. :-)

If I could, I would give Jacqueline 100 stars. Due to a last minute Rover cancellation/change, we found Jacqueline the DAY OF our flight--literally hours before, so you can imagine how we stressed we were. Jacqueline called me immediately to accept the stay and talk over logistics so she can jump right in to help. She was able to accommodate and help take care of our fur baby Juno for a 4 night stay even though she had prior engagements that same day, and upcoming weekend during Fleet Week. Everyone has a different way of "dog-parenting" and there is (A LOT of) comfort in finding someone who is as "extreme" as you in caring for your dog as you would your child, and Jacqueline did just that. You can tell she was extremely attentive to Juno through the photos and especially at pick up, when she recounted how Juno interacted with her own dog, Winston, and how Juno started to display acts of comfort in the apartment over time. Jacqueline was extremely fast with responses and kept us up to date with photos and details about their day-to-day. Jacqueline is amazing and I highly (highly highly!!) recommend her to anyone who is looking for a caring dog lover to watch their pup while needing to travel. If Jacqueline and Winston were available and will have Juno back, we would be more than happy and comfortable and peace-of-mind definitely be a repeat client for them! :) Thank you and your husband again, a million times! And to Winston who was so kind to share his toys that Juno hid from him... lol. We just can't say enough great things about this stay. x

Jacqueline has been so great with my Chloe, she always wags her tail so happy to see her every time she is dropped off. She is very accommodating to my busy schedule and I feel at ease that Chloe is well taken care of in her home.

Jacqueline was wonderful with our Cavalier King Charles pup Ellie. She watched Ellie for 5 days and took such great care of her. She gave updates throughout our trip, and we could relax knowing Ellie was having fun and was well taken care of. She also handled our complicated drop-off & pick up parameters perfectly. A great experience all around!

Jacqueline was great - I got frequent updates and pictures of how much fun my dog was having. She is also very easy going, and makes the process so easy. I knew she would take care of my baby just like he was her own, which is exactly what I was looking for in a dog sitter. My dog is an old man, and is very stuck in his ways - and she embraced and adapted to that. I would definitely recommend her, and look forward to booking appointments with her in the future. thank you so much for taking such good care of my little man!

Information Jacqueline C. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know your dogs demeanor, and maybe even meet them or see a video! I just want to make sure they aren't too big, or aggressive at all since Winston is only 20 lbs, and not much to stand up for himself. I'd also want to know if they are a barker, if they tend to mark their territory inside, or eat furniture or shoes. ;-) Winston uses potty pads inside when he needs (he's getting old), so there is a safe potty area that is available if anyone has a puppy, older dog, or little one who can't hold it long. As for breeds, I'm pretty open to most...would prefer smaller dogs (under 30lbs) though.
