I am a retired NYC School Teacher of 30 years. I am a healthy & happy person. I love to travel and When I return home, I have lots of free time to dedicate to our delightful furry friends. We love all dogs. We respect their individuality & their rescue history. All dogs are welcome. We do ask for a meet and greet to view your dog and see if your dog responds well to us. I spent many years working closely with early childhood students, so I have lots of patience. My family supports as a loving team of dog lovers, providing a safe, social dog setting in our spacious home. I grew up with several dogs in my home & I love providing an environment that allows friendly dogs to bond indoors & outdoors. We prefer dogs that are overall friendly as safety is the first priority. We can provide, an apple air tag, if your dog is into Houdini tricks. We use quality non fiber, waterproof, XL, cool to the touch, Hyper allergenic Mats that dogs appreciate. Super soft for play, sleep. Super easy to clean. So you don’t need to provide a dog bed. A blanket is fine to through on furniture.

Jacqueline is a very kind person who took wonderful care of my dog over the holidays. I was nervous to leave my dog in the hands of someone else for two weeks, but Jacqueline was very reassuring and supportive. I could tell my dog adjusted well and felt comfortable with Jacqueline very quickly. Jacqueline made my dog feel happy and safe while I was away!!
Jacqueline has such a calm, patient approach yet so full of enthusiasm and care! I could tell she was attentive to my dog’s needs and personality and treated her like one of the family. So lucky to have found her & Max. Duma will be happy to visit them again!

We are available on the weekdays & weekends. I respect my clients time so I am flexible and willing to accommodate to your schedule if there is a delay travel or extension of service needed. We are always be excited about meeting a new dog friend. Health History is important to share, any health issues your dog may have:allergies, problems walking ,climbing minimal stairs, heat sensitive, or requires high levels of water intake. Takes medicine, Etc. All owners are expected to include :food, treats, doggy bags, a throw blanket for sleeping, or to throw on furniture. please no dog beds they ranks equal to bed mattresses which should not be transferred out of your home. Our cushioned wipeable dog mats work best & a blanket is ok. unless it a must for your dog to sleep in his bed. I would leave it home. We have no problem with a dog sleeping on the couch with a blanket.

What is your dogs energy disposition? What is the daily routine like? If your dog has any separation anxiety behaviors or if it’s a repetitious behavior : constant barking, whimpers, scratches on spot until red, or if he or she is as independent & carefree from you as a breeze! ? What is your dogs eating habits/ if your dog has meds? Or any medical issues. What type of walk fits your dog’ best? How many poop bags is the expected to be the norm to feel he or she had reached the daily goal! What are your dog’s triggers to avoid while on walks or at home? If they're are any city sounds that are triggers? Scooters, motor bikes, skate borders, door knocking , door bell, ambulance, washing machine, elevador,rain, thunder sirens etc, What types of dog does your dog like or don't like? At home, or outside? Would your dog lbe most happy in their own private space ? Or in a cage ? I have gates & cages to accommodate such needs. What's comforts them to sleep? Does your dog have any weaknesses or temptations ? Or something to avoid?hunts Birds, squirrels, bites shoes, loves street floor scraps, going after dinner food off table ? etc. Any prior accidents ? Physical accidents? Any problem sharing his toys, if so pls don’t bring them I have toys to share. If your dog had accidents inside the home with #1 or #2 I really need to know. Thank you.
A typical day
We enjoy long walks at riverside drive park & use the gated dog run park. They even have a separate small dog gated section. Often a special visit to a gated sand park facing the Hudson river which is a big hit for playing : fetch, rolling in the sand & digging to china.. My dog clients love this sand park all year round. I am happy to entertain & exercise with your dog. I am happier, if they are happy.?

Availability
I feel it's important for us to get to know your dog's personality and the developmental stage he or she is presently in, to understand and serve his or her needs. We I create meaningful family moments with your dog at the center of our family time. At our home your dog will receive lots of care: petting, snuggling, play time and lots of attention. As well your dog will have a choice of who they want to gravitate to. In case of an emergency one of us stays behind to care for your dog instead of hiring a back up sitter to pick your dog up. We prefer to do at least one "meet and greet" in a public place. Spending ten mins will defiantly be worth taking the time to get to know your dog style & It really is the best way to understand every dog that will come aboard under our care. Quality & kindness is really our aim to build a healthy bond. After we have completed our one time “meet & greet” you automatically become clients that book right away. This helps in high season so you don’t miss out on a booking scheduled you prefer.
