I helped take care of my childhood dog throughout his life when I was in middle school and high school. I’ve had my dog, Bud, for almost 3 years now and have helped friends take care of their dogs during this time as well. Growing up I frequently stopped by my neighbors homes to check on their pets as well.

Jacqueline is one of the most caring and loyal people I have ever met. She is always so in tune with what others feel around her and is always there for them - friends and pets alike. I have seen Jacqueline interact with many different animals - from our pet fish whose tank she cleaned meticulously, to her parents' dog who she loves dearly, to friends' dogs who she is happy to babysit, to her own two dogs whom she takes the utmost care of. Jacqueline makes sure her dogs are happy, taken care of, always have toys to play with and space to enjoy running around in. She takes great care to ensure their happiness and I am always happy to entrust my own pets to her care!

I'm happy to assist in any way I can to make sure you're reassured that your pet is safe when you're not home. This could include checking to make sure nothing unsafe is within your pet's reach at your home, sending you photos when I check on them or take them on a walk, or whatever else you think of. I have a baby gate and video camera set up in my apartment for my dogs so I understand how important it is to feel like your pets are out of harms way when you aren't around.

I won't be bringing dog with me when I'm with your pets but if you're dog doesn't get along with other dogs I'd still like to know so I can try to avoid areas where a lot dogs typically frequent. Additionally, I would appreciate a heads up about any special needs or requests.
A typical day
I love going on walks to nearby parks or around the neighborhood. I have a car harness for a dog that's around 20 lbs so I'm happy to drive to parks or dog parks if there are ones you prefer. I typically get my dog a Pup cup whenever I go get myself a coffee and I'm happy to do the same with yours :) I play fetch with my dog all the time and have puzzles I set up for him with food and treats so I would love to do with your dog as well. Besides that I always have work to do on my laptop so just hanging out and giving your dog pets is always enjoyed.

Availability
I'm a fourth year medical student with a very variable schedule. I’m available most weekends however I’m in the hospital during the weekdays so most of my weekly availability is in the evenings.
