Pet care experience
I am a former veterinary care assistant with 6 years experience looking after dogs, cats and other small mammals. During that time, I have gained experience in animal first aid as well as a qualification in beginners obedience training, so am confident in continuing training for any pets that I care for. For the past 2 years I have been pet sitting for my sisters senior Akita, as well as helping to look after the family dog, a 12 year old cross breed. I am confident in administering medication if needed and can bathe dogs if necessary.

Excellent. I was very nervous about leaving my dog due to some bad experiences, however Jacolyn put me at ease and looked after my dog really well and sent regular updates. Would use again.
Jacolyn was amazing from as soon as I made the booking until I picked my dog up, so attentive! She made sure she knew everything she needed to know and treated Pyper like her own, took her on walks, cuddled with her on the sofa and let her in her bed with her. I currently live in a ground floor apartment with a secure, fenced outdoor space which pets will have access to. I will not limit your pet to one area or room of the house and pets are allowed on the furniture.

I can continue any behaviour training that you have been doing with your dog including basic commands as well as muzzle training, if required. I will keep you updated with how your pet is doing while you are away.
A typical day
I will work around your dog's regular routine, taking them out for walks and feeding them on your schedule. If they are comfortable travelling in a car, I can take your pets to a park about a 5 minute drive from my house for them to explore and get plenty of exercise.

Availability
I am currently working full time Mon-Fri 9am-5pm with 2 days working from home. I am available for pet sitting and dog walking on weekends as well as the days I work from home.
