Pet care experience
My fiancé and I have a cat of our own. Occasionally, we spend some time out of town which requires a cat-sitter. We know the feeling of wanting the best care, love, and play for him. I understand the difficulty of leaving a pet at home while being away, because they’re family. I hope to provide the same care, comfort, and love that we wish for our boy when we are gone. I want you to feel comfortable leaving your pet/pets in safe hands!

Jacobi has been walking and spending time playing with my very large Sheepadoodle puppy. Jacobi is extremely reliable, a quick study at learning the family/doggy routine, and trustworthy as well as appropriately independent (comes and goes as instructed). Best of all, his love for my dog is self-evident. Highly recommended.

I care for pets by making sure all their needs are met (food, water, clean place to go to the bathroom). Spending quality time with them is very important to me, and making sure they feel loved. Play is another vital way I care for pets, as I know all animals need the right amount of stimulation.

A typical day
It depends on the pet! With dogs, I love to take them outside on walks and let them sniff around! Usually, lots of sniffing around will tire them out more efficiently than a brisk walk. I’d also give them lots of pets and make sure they have time with their favorite toys. With cats, stimulation inside with things like string toys and throwing smaller toy mice are one of my favorite activities (and theirs too). I’ve found that cats love a good brush to make sure they’re nice and groomed.

I currently am working full-time in Spokane, but have long lunches. I can check in on your pet during then, as well as the late afternoon if needed!
