Pet care experience
I grew up with multiple dogs in my household and close family members homes. I have always loved caring for them and having them around. Since I moved away from home, I have not had any animals of my own, but have been involved in animal care. In college I was a regular pet sitter for a friend with a cat and a dog. Since I moved to Seattle, I have dog-sat for two poodles, and regularly take care of two cats. I am comfortable with animal care for both cats and dogs, and look forward to spending time with your animals!

After repeated stays, little Jack is always excited when we're walking to drop off!
Jacob was great with our dog Lexi. He is super responsive and made the whole experience great for us. Our dog has leash reactivity and he’s confident in working with dogs like her which gave us peace of mind. He also sent plenty of updates which was nice while we were out of town. Would absolutely recommend Jacob.
Jacob was awesome! He did day care for my pup Penny while we were moving out of our apartment. She can be a little anxious around new people but I could tell he won her over. I highly recommend him!
My pup Jack loved Jacob's environment! On the second day, I noticed Jack was excited walking the last block before drop off - which is a pretty big deal for him (separation anxiety). I'm happy with the pictures I received through our his stay.

I currently live in a studio. So while this means there is not a lot of room for your dog or cat to run around, there is also less of a chance they will get into anything. We keep a tidy home, thus any animal will not get anything (food, clothing, etc.). We live close to many walking areas, and taking the dog outside for a walk or to go to the bathroom is very convenient. If I am going to a client's home, I am always reliable and respectful of their home, and will make sure that everything is kept how it was.

When proper given instructions, I am very confident, comfortable, and capable of handling nearly any request you may have for your pet when in my care.
A typical day
I live near a quiet neighborhood in Cap Hill that has lots of side streets for a relaxing dog walk! I also live within a 10 minute walk from Volunteer Park and Cal Anderson, so there's a lot of new places for your dog to venture to and explore.

Availability
I currently work from home, so I have a flexible schedule and will be there to suit your animals needs. I live with my girlfriend, so if I need to be somewhere, she will be able to be at home. I am active and enjoy walking, so walking your dog will fit well into my daily schedule.
