Pet care experience
It has been an emphasis in my life to care for the animals that I have the joy of existing with. I have always had a dog in my home, many times several dogs. I am very calm and know how to bond without the old school fear tactics. I have taken care of a variety of dogs, from senior dogs with time sensitive medical attention (Max, Luey & Teddie), to young and rambunctious puppies (Max, Reggie, Perry & Waylon).

Jacob took great care of my Pekingese, Bear. His dog and cat got along great with Bear. Jacob was great with communication and also provided me with pictures and updates while we were gone for a week. He also took Bear on walks. Thanks Jacob!

I am very calm and patience with all animals. Some studies have shown dogs share 96% of the same emotions we humans do, and I like to believe this to be true. Understanding dog body language is #1 with me in making a friendly bond. I do have an 8 year old dog who is great on walks with other dogs who can join, or not, depending on your dog's preference. At my home: Two couches that are full pet friendly. Upstairs is hardwood but downstairs is carpeted for more paw friendly activity. Comfort and accommodation is my focus. Routine is encouraged. Nothing is better at routine than dogs and the more you can cater to that, the better.

A typical day
I am very close to High Park in Derby, which has a lot of walking space. For the active pups, I am good with tug-o-war (going along with their body language and understanding when enough is enough). I am very vocal and will have lots of conversations with your dog, regardless of their energy!

My current schedule allows for my full attention towards pet care. My current pets have me up by 6am and we are at it throughout the day.
