I had a Lab when I was a kid that I trained and took care of. Now I have a maltese/Yorkie that I got as a puppy and now is all trained. He comes when I call him and can do some other tricks like closing doors when I tell him to. (For better of for worst). I am also a member of mutt canine parks. So we go there to work sometimes so the dogs can hangout and I can work.

A typical day
Walks in the morning and maybe dog park in the afternoon with a walk in the evening. In between those hours my dog is usually chilling by the window.

Availability
I work from home so I am in my apartment every day and go on walks with my dog in the morning, sometimes in the afternoon and always in evening. So your pup would get lots of walks. I live 3 mins walk to a park and we go to. I also have a Mutt pass so sometimes I will take my dog there.
