Update **I am going to start dog walking again soon sometime in 2024. I have a few things that need to be taken care of still, personal family matters. After "covid" things were quiet for awhile, but I truly miss the dogs and their nuttiness.** I've been around dogs and other animals my whole life. I had a beautiful dog, Cindy whom I lost 7 years ago and I had her for 14 years. I grew up with a natural love for animals, since my parents would take me to High Park and we would constantly visit the zoo and the pond full of ducks. I've worked on a friend's farm for some time now (Llamas, Al pacas, mini horses, rabbits, lots of ducks and a stubborn goat. :o I love the energy I get when I'm around animals, time just seems to stop still and we always have great conversations, at least I think so. Topics of conversation are just kept to ball chasing, various cookie brands and naturally, the dog that just walked by that we didn't get a chance to say hi to.

Jacob has been walking our two German Shepherds for just over a month and we are thrilled with his commitment to our schedule needs and the daily improvement in our girls ( 2 year old litter mates) walking skills! Thanks to Jacob we have introduced positive behaviour skills with our dogs.
Jacob took great care of my two dogs, cat and gecko, house sitting while we were away. My young pup is a very very busy boy, but Jacob kept him busy on walks and lots of play. The house was very clean and well kept as well.
Jacob was excellent walking all three dogs and made sure to communicate with me and put my mind at ease that they were very well taken care of. I would absolutely recommend Jacob and will be making use of his services again! The dogs loved him.
Jacob was phenomenal with our three pets. With two high energy young Aussies and a geriatric cat we knew we needed someone with experience that would bond naturally with them all. He did just that. Even with our one female Penny who can be skittish with people- she was all over him and just loves him. He kept us updated with photos and texts over the 14 day trip and all three pets looked better then when we left them due his care and brushing. Our house was cared for (plants watered) and he even sanitized before we returned. We will definitely be hiring him again!! Would give more then 5 stars if possible.

At this time I do not provide boarding services, but have a quite a few recommendations of those who do board pets in their homes. As for a client's home, it's real simple, I leave the smallest footprint I can in the house. Whatever the client's needs are, those are followed and respected. See recent reviews from clients of whom I stayed overnight and cared for their loved ones.
Information Jacob T. would like to know about your pet
If they have any issues with any sounds, other dogs, people, cars, bikes,etc,.. Basically, their quirks. If there is anything that you as their fur-parents have any DOs and DONTs. Please do tell me if your dog(s) are heavy leash pullers or not. If they like other dogs, cats, etc..
A typical day
I'd be quite flexible on this, if it's routine, probably best to stick to a routine with a new person being introduced to the dog. Patterns and behaviour go hand in hand Dos and Donts. I do prefer walking dogs 1 on 1 If you like, I comb/brush dogs at no extra charge.

Unfortunately, I will not be available until the middle of February. This is my full time job, so it would clearly vary day-to-day depending on whatever I have scheduled for the upcoming days or as well, weeks.
