Pet care experience
I’ve had a dog in the house since I was born. My regular chores included cleaning up after, feeding, walking, and bathing the two dogs I’ve had in my lifetime. In addition to this, I was regularly recruited by neighbors to dog sit while they were away. I truly appreciate every chance I get to meet a new pup, even if just for a short time. My dogs have been best friends to me and have done just as much for me in my lifetime as I did for them in theirs.

My name is Kenna Ashton and I have been a friend of Jacobs for years now. Jacob is the perfect candidate for becoming a pet sitter or dog walker because I have seen him interact with dogs many times. He is gentle, kind, loving, friendly, athletic, and loves dogs so much. I have even had Jacob dog sit for me before and he did a wonderful job. He was reliable and kind to my dog, and honestly, he loved it so it was a win-win situation. He's had multiple dogs of his own, in addition to, volunteering at a local shelter called TAPS. Overall, I can confidently say Jacob would excel in this job just like he excels in everything else he sets his mind to.

My dog is back with my parents due to living restrictions but they have a fenced in backyard and close proximity to multiple parks. I regularly walked him at least once a day for 30 minutes. In caring for the pets of clients I am open to any requests within the scope of care that may be provided through Rover.

A typical day
I love to take long walks and explore new areas while the dogs explore with me. I also love to plays any game with the dog that they love (my dog prefers keep away over fetch). I am open to whatever entertainment the dog enjoys that is in walking distance.

Availability
I am a full time law student in class Monday-Friday. However, I have gaps on all those days and am usually available anytime on the weekends so it just depends on the day. Ask away and more than likely i’m available!
