Pet care experience
I grew up in a dog family so have been around them my whole life. I am well experienced with looking after dogs and helped my parents train our family dogs when I was younger. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs. I am an outdoorsy person as well so I enjoy going out for walks and going to parks.

I’ve tried multiple dog walkers last few weeks and i will say Jake was the nicest / friendliest rover i’ve had! Highly recommend!
Jacob is wonderful with all pets! He’s very reliable, patient, caring, and loving. He treats each pet as if they were his own. You can’t go wrong hiring him to take care of your pet.
Jacob is one of the biggest dog lovers I know. His family had dogs his entire life growing up, and now he has one of his own who he loves more than anything. He will never pass up the opportunity to pet or play with a dog he sees. He is very compassionate and gentle towards all pets, and he would take great care of any he gets an opportunity with through Rover.

I live in a dog friendly apartment building so I would be taking the dog out for walks downtown or to parks. I have plenty of room in my apartment for a dogs cage and for play with toys and such. The apartment has no carpet so no worries about accidents if the dog is young!

A typical day
I will take the dog for nice long walks, trips to the park, and will play fetch or with whatever toys are provided. There will be plenty of time spent watching shows together as well!

Availability
My job allows me to have free time typically after 12-1pm during the week everyday. However, I do have to travel on weekends for work sometimes so my availability would primarily be during the work week.
