Hi there! I'm Jacob and I'm an Oregon native, UO graduate, and a current medical student. I've been raising dogs of all sizes from Chihuahuas to Pyrenees since childhood so I know and love learning each pet's unique personality. I work at the hospital on weekdays, so I offer drop-in/walking in the afternoons and evenings Monday-Friday. On the weekends, my girlfriend and I offer boarding, daycare, and drop-in visits with flexible hours to meet your needs. We have 2 furry family members of our own, Pella and Zelda, both are friendly goldendoodles about 18 months old. If your dog prefers private time or to be away from our dogs, we have an extra bedroom exclusively for furry visitors. Otherwise, our dogs love having visitors in the house, they especially love cuddling with small dogs! Our 3-level townhouse is very dog friendly and our rules are flexible to mimic your home & training style. We have a small fenced back yard with a concrete patio and a high fence for escape artists. Jacob and Marne are top-notch sitters. We contacted them at the very last minute bc my husband planned a night of dinner and a concert for my birthday and we didn't think wed get anyone to watch our dear beloved Belgian Sheppard Moxley. Sure enough they not only were available the following day they seemed so excited to watch him as he seemed perfectly adjusted to them right away. Thet sent several pictures to show their activities while we were out to out our minds at ease and show us that they just don't sit there and watch him but go the extra mile and went jogging with him played with him along with a dog friend he met and gave him tons of love. They were especially patient with us bc we forgot cash to give then a well deserved to which we did a few days later. They were both very gracious sitters. I definitely recommend them for any dog that needs sitting. They be sure to be in excellent hands and I'm definitely going to use them again should the need arise. Were planning a trip to Hawaii and hope theyll be available then bc Moxley fell in love with them. He didn't even want to leave! Thank you so much Jacob and Marne! Your the best! We give them 5 well deserved stars and would offer more if the screening allowed it!
Jacob is a smart and caring human. He grew up training dogs including his Great Pyrenee, Bandit, who was so well behaved that he attended high school as a therapy dog! Currently, Jacob and I have 2 female Doodle mixes (Goldendoodle and Labradoodle, 1.5 years old, fixed, energetic, cuddly). He treats the dogs as family, but maintains boundaries as a great "pawrent" should. We enjoy walks/hikes, dog parks, and cuddling on the couch with a good movie or book. We would be happy to care for your pups as our own!
