Pet care experience
I have four rescue pets (2 dogs and 2 cats) of my own whom I love to spoil, and have been helping my wonderful wife pet sit for the past 5 years as well. We have collectively fostered and help find homes for over 50 animals through Cincinnati Animal CARE- a mix of puppies, adult dogs, senior dogs, cats, and kittens! My wife will not be assisting with my pet-care duties however. I also have extensive experience walking leash-reactive dogs and our two dogs are very reactive when walking on leash.

Jake is amazing with animals- dogs and cats at any age range. I struggle to walk my two dogs by myself as they tend to pull me, but Jake manages them well and always makes sure everyone gets back home safely and has a great walk. He is the best!
Jake is one of the most dependable people I know. He’s communicative, reliable, and responsible. He and his wife are two of the most caring people I know, especially when it comes to animals. They foster both dogs and cats regularly and he is very active in helping to get them adopted. If I lived closer to him, I’d have him pet sit for me every time!

Safety is always my top priority with pets! Whether you have a fenced in yard or the dogs need walked on leashes, they will always have a close eye on them at all times within my care. I am comfortable using different types of harnesses and leashes as well.

A typical day
I absolutely love takings dogs on walks and letting them get all their energy and sniffs out. If it is a check in and there is a fenced backyard, I will be happy to play with your pup in the backyard whether it’s tug of war, fetch, etc.

I work from home every day, and am easy to work with/very flexible because of this. I can do same day requests as well if needed.
