Personally, my family had three cats and four dogs. My aunt who lived just a mile away, had a whole farm, composed of cats, dogs, chickens, goats, horses, etc. I would often pet sit for her as I truly receive gratification from being with my furry friends. Pet sitting translated into my current work as a registered nurse here in downtown Seattle. With previous experience being a respiratory nurse in the middle of a respiratory pandemic, And current work of being a primary care nurse, you can imagine, I am well equipped to deal with health needs of our pets. In the past, I have given oral and injectable medication‘s to pets. I have watched. Currently, I have my cat on an oral medication regimen and I’m very familiar with their finicky ways.
