There's not a dog in the world that I haven't fallen in love with. Size does not matter. I've ran with high energy dogs, strolled with the elderly, and even chilled with special needs pups. I enjoy not only the walks but also focusing on improving leash behavior and social skills. I am a proponent of rewards and positive reinforcement and oppose punishment. Ongoing healthy communication between me and the dog's owner is a necessity. I've also been a volunteer foster parent to rescues from Baton Rouge for the last month. A typical day with me would be breakfast, a morning walk, back home to rest, then one more short visit outside midafternoon, and then a visit to the dog park in the evening to visit with the other dogs. While walking the dog, I usually take the time to address any issues of leash behavior and refine command issues. Lastly we will head home, have dinner, and relax before one last outside bathroom break and then its off to bed. I am open and available most days for at least half of the day as I work in a regular m-f 9-5 and I usually have an hour for lunch. I am available for mornings, sometimes middays, evenings, and even overnights. I am living in the Elgin area and am available to travel outside my area to visit with the dogs.
