Pet care experience
I have always had a special place in my heart for dogs. I grew up caring for and training German shorthair pointers and my family currently has two amazing great Danes (Klaus and Stella) and a teddy bear dog (Rudy). From junior high to highschool, I was the neighborhood dog/house sitter, caring for a variety of breeds. Currently, I am the preferred dog/house sitter in my friend group and I look forward to meeting new furry pals. I feel like my experience hanging out with and caring for dogs allows me to understand the spectrum of personalities across a variety of breeds that informs the way I interact with a dog.

Jacob is the best part of my dog's week. My dog gets so excited anticipating a walk with Jacob. Jacob is professional, personable, and kind. I can tell he loves what he does. I can tell he loves dogs and my dog loves him too. He's great and I definitely recommend him for anyone needing pet assistance!
Jacob was the BEST! He took incredible care of our two pups while we were away. Our boy Pete has some separation anxiety and Jacob did a great job keeping an eye on him as well as extra snuggles to help him feel better. He kept in touch with us and when we got home, the house was clean and taken care of, like we’d never been gone. I would HIGHLY recommend Jacob if you need a long term or short term sitter for your critters. We will 100% use him again. 🙏
Jacob was very easy to work with. Responded in a timely manner and asked immediate questions on how to best serve Kip and make sure he was a good fit. I will definitely be utilizing his services again.
Jacob was a natural with my two dogs and both of them loved him. He even came with his own treats for them, which was above and beyond the call of duty. I highly recommend him.

My apartment is pet friendly but is too small to be comfortable with hanging out with a dog for long periods of time (I firmly believe that dogs deserve space to run and explore and shouldn't be cooped up longer than they're comfortable with). I am comfortable taking care of dogs in a clients home, however I do try to make sure a dog has plenty of time to get out of the house and socialize/explore/exercise. If I'm dog and house sitting, I am very respectful of a client's space and prefer to have a conversation about expectations while they are out (everything from expectations around cleanliness of the house in general, the dog's sleeping area, access to cleaning supplies should they need to be used, amenities, etc.)

I am currently in between jobs and have a VERY flexible schedule. Working weekends does require some scheduling as I like to travel to visit friends and family but I'm currently very open and flexible during the week.
