I'm an avid animal lover. I've been a lisenced veterinary technologist for 5 years and have been in the veterinary field since the age of 12. I'm currently enrolled in veterinary school but prior to that, I've worked in both a small animal practice as well as a specialty hospital. My parents introduced me to fostering dogs when I was a young teenager and over the years I've cared for over 50 dogs in the house I live in. I do have 2 dogs (male chihuahua and a female shih tzu) who are fairly unphased by visiting dogs after the initial meet and greet. I also have a cat who thinks she's a dog but mainly keeps to herself on another floor of the house. I am an extremely reliable, informed, responsible and trustworthy person. I understand the behavior, needs and wants of both dogs and cats, and I have the patience and energy to give them the best vacation while their humans are away!
