I am a dog and cat First Aid and CPR certified sitter who grew up in Ohio happily surrounded by dogs, cats, birds and other animal friends. Now that I live in Massachusetts, I would love the opportunity to meet and take care of your animal companions, including walking, bathing, and feeding those in need of a sitter. Please read on below for a more detailed explanation of my pricing and services. I presently offer drop-in visits and walks in half-hour increments. For up to two pets, each half-hour is $25 and one full hour is $40. I charge an additional $5 per visit for puppies under one year old. For more than two pets, please contact me for a quote. I work a day job during the week, so please note that I am only available to provide drop in visits and walks before 7 a.m. and after 5:30 p.m. In addition to providing all the care and attention your loved one needs while you are away, I will gladly come take care of other small household tasks like watering plants or bringing in mail. All of my bookings include one complimentary meet and greet, which is usually about a one half hour visit, before sitting begins that allows you to get to know me and me to get to know you and your pet. Additional meet and greet visits other than key pickup may incur an additional fee. Just to tell you a little bit about myself personally, I am just starting a career in the legal industry after finishing grad school. I maintain a very active lifestyle, very focused on outdoor activities like hiking. For you, this means I have plenty of energy to play with your babies! About this sitter: I have owned and taken care of dogs big and small, young and old, rambunctious and reserved. I am also an experienced cat sitter and take pride in understanding and accommodating all of my kitty clients' unique personalities and needs. I am a long time reptile owner (mali uromastyx) and am also comfortable with and an experienced caretaker of hamster, mice, gerbils, hermit crabs and other small animals. Why I love dog sitting: My family has had dogs, large and small, from the day I was born. I grew up around them, and have always enjoyed their presence. I have been petsitting for almost 15 years now. Meet my pets: I've been the proud parent of Giuseppe, a mali uromastyx, for 14 years. Giuseppe is a laid back, desert dwelling vegan, loves rock music, and is a great listener :-).
