I'm a young person with availability in the mornings, evenings and on weekends to take care of your dog! My dog of many years recently passed away and I was hoping to use my free time to care for other dogs! I'm active and caring and I am certain I can provide an affectionate caretaker for your dog while you are away. I am great at playing with dogs, running them around, and ensuring they have a good time. Jackson was loving companion with our family dog from elementary school until he headed to college. They “grew up” together. A walk was never just a walk or a chore, it was an adventure. First things first, we need to make sure they do their business appropriately. This means being responsive to their natural cycles, making sure they get outside when they need and not after. Secondly, thoroughness--making sure they have all the food and water and toys they need to be satisfied. Finally, affection! Giving them all sorts of belly scratches and pets as a reminder of how good they truly are.

Dogs have personalities all their own! I would want to know their likes and (especially) their dislikes, e.g. cars, strangers, other dogs. I believe in meeting a dog where they are--adjusting how I care for them based on their needs.
A typical day
I love playing with dogs!! My father likes to say my family dog thought I was a dog too. Depending on your preferences, I would be thrilled to go on long walks with your dog, play with toys with them, roll around in a grassy park. The world would be ours!

Availability
I'm currently working full time with a hybrid work arrangement, so I would have to plan around my job in order to provide petcare. That being said, I have the flexibility to work remotely (wherever need be), so I am confident that this would not be an obstacle in caring for your dog.
