Pet care experience
I grew up with a newfoundland, took care of dogs, dog sat, and recently cared for one in particular many times (a Shih-tzu). Most recently I took my sisters <1 year old golden for walks in San Francisco. I work from home full time, but unfortunately my apartment complex doesn't allow dogs...lame! I would be honored to take special care of your k9 companion, and would really enjoy the time I can spend with them, as working from home can be pretty isolating. I'm diligent when it comes to special details or needs and I'm open to any special requests you have. I'm also a runner...so if you want someone to run with your dog, look no further! I live in the Eastlake neighborhood and give preference to customers in this area.

Jackson was is great! Highly recommend for big dog owners. He was communicative, friendly, and buzz (husky) seemed to really like him! Jackson really maximized the 60 min and was able to get a 3 mile walk in. Even with Seattle weather deciding to give him sunny, rain and hail.. Jackson was still cheerful and happy upon return! Thank you for helping me with buzz today! Looking forward to our next booking!

I am happy to do what is most helpful for your pup. That can be anything from in house playing toys or food to a vigorous long walk. On walks I may ask you if your objective is miles or just getting them outside.
Information Jackson L. would like to know about your pet
I'd want to know what voice commands they are used to, as it's different for every owner. I'd also like to know how they are around other dogs or strangers just so I'm aware. I don't have a breed preference, but I'm particular to Aussies, Huskies, Newfoundlands, and Bernese Mountain Dogs. I don't discriminate, however...at all. I love small dogs too. I'd also want to know if your dog has any food allergies, medical conditions, or things they should avoid. It's also good to know ahead of time if the dog is kid friendly or not in case I ran by one on one of my walks, although per Rover terms I will avoid it.
A typical day
I will take your dog on their favorite routes if you let me know what they're used to, but I really enjoy heading to more open areas like parks or the waterfront. During Rover walks I’m not allowed to take the dog off leash but I’d love to run with your dog.

Availability
I work from home so this is a great way for me to get out of the apartment, schedule pending. My schedule is very flexible currently with occasional constraints.
