Pet care experience
As a kid I started a dog walking business with my mom when we found a lost dog in our neighborhood. Ever since then I have loved taking care of animals and giving them the attention they deserve. In college I volunteered my time at an animal shelter taking dogs for walks and bring them to my apartment for the weekend to help them socialize with people instead of being locked up in the shelter. Last winter I would always barge into my senior neighbors house to take her dog for walks and play time since she would work long hours. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they aren't stuck inside all day. It's also good for me not to be stuck inside all day, especially in the winter! I always say that a walk is better with a dog (or cat).

Caveat - Jackson is my son. Jackson is a dog/cat magnet. He had dogs and cats growing up. He is very responsible - often caring for and walking our neighbors 2 disabled dogs - even asking to do it while they were at work. When he was about six years old we found 2 dogs wandering our neighborhood and we put them in our backyard at his insistence. He then said we could help other people with their dogs. We started a little business and ran it for about 5 years, becoming friends with the pet owners. He has a loving spirit and animals respond to him. Your pets will be in good hands with his service.

A typical day
My main activity to do with animals is going for walks, hikes, and going to dog parks. Tossing a ball or Frisbee for them to chase after also helps them burn off a lot of energy. And plenty of playtime indoors if the weather outside is too poor

Availability
I'm currently working on online certifications as I transition to a new career, so my schedule is flexible. Any chance to take a break from my computer to play with pets is always welcome! I'm usually an early bird so I can care for those animals that like to wake early as well.
