Pet care experience
I started off as a freshman in high school, cat sitting for a family friend every vacation where I cleaned the litter box, tidied up any messes, and fed. Now, I have worked at an animal shelter for almost two years (mainly with dogs). During this job I have gained extensive knowledge on dog behaviors, body language, and positive reinforcement training. I’ve also shadowed at the same vet clinic for 6 months receiving hands on experience. I’m experienced giving medications to dogs and cats.

I will bring my own training treats for if I need them, so PLEASE let me know if your dog has allergies. (treats will always have a short ingredient list and be healthy)

Please inform me if your pet is timid, has any weird quirks, or guarding issues with food or toys. I’m able to handle this stuff and respect your dogs space if needed. Also I’d like to know ahead of time if your dog is special needs or needs special care and I’d be happy to assist
A typical day
When I arrive, I start with calmly walking in and checking for any messes your furry friend has made while your away. After that, I will follow the routine you want me to do, wether your dog needs a potty break, feeding, play time, or any mental enrichment activities like kongs, snuffle mats, and frozen lick matts! Before I leave, I will make sure your home looks the same as when I arrived and have your dog in a calm state before I leave and crated if needed.

Availability
The days i’m available are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Tuesdays and Wednesday will need to be before 11am as I will be at work by 12pm. Thursdays, feel free to contact me anytime and I will plan my schedule around you, as it’s my “free day”!
