Hello, I am a dog lover of all breeds, I am the kind of person that when I meet strangers I see their dog first and instantly want to be their dog's friend! I used to work in a dog-friendly office where I bring my own pup and we constantly have at least 1-2 fosters from Dog Gone Seattle on top of 5 office dogs daily. I love socializing my pup by going to dog-friendly bars and breweries around the Fremont-Ballard area and Redmond-East side region. For the past 13 years before I got Cotswold, I was the main volunteer to help out my friends and neighbor's with their dog sitting. Whether it is for jogging, dog parks, taking them out and about on adventures or just needing to go to your home to hang out with them for 1-2 hours and giving them snuggles, I am your gal! Growing up I had Beagles in the household, I wasn't exposed to 70+lbs dogs till the recent 3-5 years but I love dogs of all sizes! I have worked with shy-timid dogs, senior pups, high-energy ones and definitely puppies. I hope you will pick me and will see how passionate I'll be caring for your pup :). -Jackee

We left our 11 week old labradoodle puppy at Jacklyn's home for doggie daycare, and I was confident that he was being well taken care of the entire time! She sent lots of pictures during his stay, which was very appreciated as it was his first time at another house without his puppy parents! Will definitely book with Jacklyn again.
I was nervous leaving my Gertie with a sitter for 4 nights, as it was the first time I was going to be away from her. Jackie set up a meet and greet with us and her little Corgie, Cotswald. It really made me a lot more comfortable with the idea. She sent me tons of photos of Gertie having fun with Cotswald the whole time, and even cut Gertie's nail for me (which were admittedly getting a bit long)! She did such a great job and made the entire experience completely stress free. I would ask Jackie to dogsit for me again in a heartbeat!
Jacklyn was awesome. She was flexible with our schedule, and so welcoming when we arrived. We know our pup can be extremely shy and scared, but she warmed right up to Jacklyn. We appreciated all of the updates we received throughout the day, and the pictures of all the fun our little one was having. It was clear that Jacklyn has the patience and knowledge to handle a variety of pups. We will definitely be requesting her again. Thank you Jacklyn!

I do not have any breed preferences as long as they're well-mannered/trained and can get along with other pups but due to the size of my home it is hard for me to board 50+ lbs dogs. I have a 2-year old Corgi who loves meeting new pups, so before I can board your pup we would need to do a meet & greet to make sure our pups will get along. It is always nice to know what dietary and exercise routines your pup is used to so I can make sure I stay consistent to that routine. General allergies, crate trained or not, if they're a resource guarder, if they have separation anxiety or not, if they're toy destroyers, what bothers them (i.e.: sounds, bicycles, certain dog breeds, doesn't do well with cats, etc.).
A typical day
Walks, dog-parks, hanging out at dog-friendly bars/Farmer's markets/breweries, play dates with my pup and potential adventures with other pups or we can just sit at home Netflix and chill! I get up pretty early everyday so we could go on morning jogs before and after work! I am near Greenlake so if your pup is high-energy, I can take them on a 3 mile walks everyday afterwork or walk over to Gas Works Park and close to Woodland Off Leash Dog Park!
