Pet care experience
Growing up I had 1 dog, 2 cats, a bunny, and was an advanced horseback rider. Caring for all of these animals became a normal part of my life and daily routine. My own dog lived for 13 years and ever since she passed I have wanted to care for other dogs and cats as much as I can. I love going for walks and having a dog with me makes it that much better! I especially love having a dog or cat in my home... it makes me feel whole again like when I was growing up-- I was surrounded by animals in the house and I miss it.

This was the third time we have left our dog with Jackie, this time for an 8-day trip, and we continue to recommend her very highly. We have a cute but sometimes ill-behaved dog and Jackie has been incredibly conscientious, patient, and caring in taking care of her.
Jackie took great care of my pup Olive while I was on a 2 week work trip! I could tell when I picked her up that she really liked Jackie's company. She took Olive on lots of sniffy walks and areas away from other dogs since Olive is leash reactive and gave her lots of love and treats. She was also very gracious about the fact that Olive marked indoors (so sorry again!).
Jackie was a great pet sitter. She asked all the right questions, and continued the dialogue throughout the boarding process. She gave my pups plenty of fresh air and they really seemed at ease with her throughout the entire process.

I live alone in an extra large 1-2 bedroom apartment, in a very safe building with 24/7 security at the front desk and lobby. While your pet is in my apartment, it will have no contact or interaction with any other animals or people, unless you request that we go for walk(s). Going on walks is easy here- I take your pet down the elevator and walk outside to various parks and relaxing walking routes.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, triggers or behavior characteristics that you think would be helpful for me to know. If there's particular things that make your animal comfortable and relaxed, I'd love to know those tips! Regarding dog walking- If your dog prefers little to no interaction with other people/animals, please let me know and I'll be sure to steer clear of such areas and only go for walks in parks/open space areas.
A typical day
- Fetch! - Walks! Short and long, whatever you and your pet desire. - Exercise! I will happily take your dog for a run or hike - Cuddling - Cozy comfortable bedding for them to rest and sleep on

Availability
I am very flexible and passionate about animals. Your pet is my first priority- getting my full undivided attention. He/she will be treated as if they are my very own. Feeding, giving medicine, walking, running/exercising (if needed), playing, loving & caring for them, etc... are some daily/routine activities. I diligently follow the owners instructions and directions for caretaking. I want animals to feel safe, content, happy and relaxed while under my care.
