Hi! My name is Jackie and l live in Arlington, Virginia. I have always had dogs growing up and have one back home. I miss having a dog around me every day and would love the opportunity to help you out with your fluffy friend in times you can’t spend with them! I love all animals and would be a friendly face for your dog to see! I have had a golden retriever, chocolate lab, Bernese mountain dog, and a maltipoo so any size of dog always works for me! I can also take them on runs if your dog prefers a run over a walk. I enjoy getting to spend time with dogs especially because I know how lonely my little pups would be when I leave the house. All dogs deserve all the love in the world and more!!!

Jackie has been our family's neighbor for over 5 years and she takes care of our dog Bailey when we are out of town and also takes her on weekly walks during the summer. Bailey loves playing with Jackie outside before and after the walks in the summer. Jackie is always sending our family updates of what her and Bailey are doing while she is dog sitting - including cute pictures of Bailey! We are so lucky to have Jackie as a neighbor.

Living in Lakeview I have a lot of cute neighborhoods to walk your pup around in and am close to multiple parks! There is a dog park that is less than a 10 minute walk if your pup gets along well with others. Your dog is also allowed on any of my furniture (even beds) if that is how he is used to being treated at his own home. I want to make him or her as comfortable as possible. :)

It would be great to know if your dog gets along well with other dogs and other humans. I have two roommates, and while I will be taking care of your dog it is important they feel comfortable in our apartment with a new dog as well.

A typical day

Naturally, I already go for long walks around Lakeview or even down to Lake Michigan as well. There is a dog park less than 10 minute walk away if your dog gets along well with others as well.
