Pet care experience
I've been a pet owner (dogs and cats) my entire life and currently take care of my parents' 11 year old Cocker Spaniel named Dodger. For two years I worked at the world's largest nonprofit animal hospital in NYC where I educated pet parents about caring for their pets and strengthening the bond between them! When pet sitting, I love taking dogs on walks or hikes and cuddling on the couch. With cats, I love bonding over toys and chin rubs! I'll make sure your pet gets the exercise they need as well as the personal touch of love, kind words, and treats (if you allow it!). My job requires me to travel internationally, but when I am in the US I am not working and therefore can dedicate all my love and attention to your furry family members! I'm happy to answer any questions in advance or set up a virtual or in person meet and greet!

Jackie was great with Pepper. She made Pepper feel comfortable and was very attentive to Pepper's behavior and needs. Jackie understood all our instructions regarding Pepper, especially since Pepper can get really anxious at times. She sent us regular updates on how Pepper was doing and it really put our mind at ease knowing Jackie was with Pepper. We'll definitely reach out again to Jackie in the future to house-sit Pepper if needed.
Jackie is an absolutely wonderful sitter, and we're so happy we found her! Jackie was a great communicator and provided pictures of our cat Molly every day. Jackie followed all the instructions we left her, treating our home and cat with great care. Jackie didn't hesitate to reach out with any questions and our cat loved her. Jackie was excellent! Great communication from start to finish. She also was great with the kittens and made me feel comfortable going away on my vacation. Sent updates everyday, pictures, and was easy to work with. Highly recommend her!
Jackie was so great with our pups! She came by for a meet and greet before agreeing to house sit overnight and our dogs instantly loved her. She took great care of them and our home. I’d recommend her to anyone! Thanks for making our night away so enjoyable not having to worry :)

I give all animals space to get to know me at their own pace without forcing them to interact more than they are comfortable. However, I am also able to enforce boundaries and will respect your needs for keeping pets off furniture, etc.

A typical day
Walks in your neighborhood to the nearest park or trail for some leashed fun followed by fetch/playtime in your yard or home! If your dog is up for longer walks, we can hop in my car and explore the beautiful parks of Central MA!
