Lots of fresh air and belly rubs!
Pet care experience
I am the go-to person for friends, neighbours, friends of friends, and family when their pet needs a home away from home! I’m a lifetime animal lover, and I grew up with dogs, cats and horses. Guest dogs LOVE coming to our home with our big fenced yard and big comfy couches. Your kiddo will get lots of fresh air and exercise! We live close to 2 parks and the Etobicoke Creek Trail. The parks are a 5 minute walk away. The creek trail loop takes about 45 minutes. For dogs who like the water, there are fun swimming spots along the creek. For low energy dogs, they’ll feel right at home on the couch with my husband who is an avid TV watcher and dog lover. Belly rubs are his specialty. My friendly bichon poodle is incredibly chill about sharing her home and her human family with guest dogs. We have no cats and no children under 18. We live at the very end of a quiet court beside a walking path. We have a large fully-fenced back yard with no sneaky holes. Dogs have easy access to the yard from the house via 2 decks. Molly and our guest dogs have loads of fun “greeting” the neighbourhood dogs and their owners who walk the path beside my home. In extreme weather, we have a spacious home so sometimes we even play fetch indoors. I will send lots of pictures and videos! In winter, your dog should come with well-fitted boots so we can walk comfortably on sidewalks that might be salted. Even though I’ve been a pet owner and caregiver for years, there’s always more to learn to be the best caregiver for your four-legged kiddo! I’m committed to learning even more from other experienced dog sitters, owners, and the resources provided by Rover.Com for more tips and tricks! I'm a teacher, so during the school year I am available on weekends beginning at 4pm on Fridays to 11pm Sundays. However, if you need weekday care and if your dog is accustomed to being alone during the day, I will be happy to accommodate your needs. Contact me if you need care on weekdays, and I will change my settings so weekdays will be available for you. I am available full days during all school holidays. I have a fully fenced large backyard and I live in a quiet mature neighbourhood where I love to walk my dog. I'm an early riser and I like to be active. Your fur-baby will get lots of fresh air and exercise! We are a dog-loving family! Guest dogs are welcome to sleep on the beds and relax on the furniture with my husband and me. Our dog receives a monthly NexGard tablet to prevent fleas and ticks, and owners must show proof that they have purchased a similar product for their dog. Dogs will be fed separately in different rooms.
Reviews
We left Neo with Jackie for over a week and it’s safe to say he had so much fun! She took care of Neo amazingly and we were worry-free as her updates kept us in touch!
Jackie was so amazing with Pancakes, everything about his stay was perfect.
I feel so worry-free when Max is with Jackie because I know he is being loved and cared for just like at home. Jackie pays attention to any details I tell her about Max’s likes and then makes sure to do similar things for him so he feels like he’s at home. The second time Max came to Jackie’s for boarding he ran to the front door and into the house, tail wagging! He was super happy! 😊 Jackie is kind and caring—exactly the type of person I was looking for to care for Max.
Jackie was an amazing sitter for my puppy.. she made sure to keep me updated and ensure he was taken good care of and well entertained… would highly recommend.

We have a large fully-fenced backyard. Dogs are allowed free-range of the house when we are home. We do not plan to leave the dogs alone for long periods of time when we are dog-sitting, but if we need to slip out for an hour or two, we prefer to separate the dogs in different rooms for safety. That is a perfect time for the dogs to enjoy its favourite Kong treat or special bone.

Information Jackie S. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any quirky behaviours. Is he afraid of thunder? Does she counter surf? Is your dog comfortable if we meet children on our walks? How about people in hats, trench coats and sunglasses ;) How does he react to joggers or cyclists? I will also need to know if there are any occasional or digestive issues or dietary needs. If your dog needs boots for walking in the winter, I can put them on.
