Hey there! I’m Jackie!! It’s important to make sure your fur baby’s care is taken care of, and I am totally willing to make that easier for you!! I currently work as a caretaker of puppies and adult dogs at my local animal shelter and I am eager to get as much hands-on experience as possible. Have lots of experience cleaning up messes, walking, and re-enforcing good behavior with treats. I will engage with your dog and keep them occupied so they don’t miss you too terribly, whether that means lots of walks or taking a snooze on the couch with them.

I adjust my approach depending on your furbaby(s) unique personality. If you dog needs a lot of mental stimulation, I’ll keep them busy with exercise and play and walks. If your dog is shy, I’ll make sure to engage with them, but give them their space when they need it.

Is your dog especially reactive to other dogs, children, or strangers? Does he have all of his vaccines (only so I can avoid certain areas and be cautious while walking)? Does he have a bite history (only so I can be aware and adjust my interactions accordingly, I will NOT turn a dog with a bite history away!!)? Does he pull on leash? Is he totally house broken?
A typical day
I can take your dog to beaver dam park, main street, or your neighborhood, depending on what your dog prefers. I love giving affection and attention to dogs, so I’ll definitely keep him busy and distracted :)

I update my availability on a two-week basis, as my schedule is rather sporadic! Sometimes I am available two days in a row, but not often.
