Hi! I’m Jackie O., a UNC-Chapel Hill grad living in Bed Stuy and working at a museum in the city. I love history podcasts, being outside, and spending time at nearby Brower and Prospect Parks! I grew up with dogs my entire life and would walk our dog before and after school. A dog-sitting business in high school translated to college as well. I dog and cat-sat regularly on holidays and long weekends. I've also been a nanny and educator for children ages 2 to 10, so I have a great deal of experience caring for others. I'm an Army Brat that grew up in theatre. In other words, I like to talk, laugh, and play, but I'll also show up five minutes early to appointments. My personality is laid-back and I love trashy tv, thrift shopping, and exploring the city. I know living in New York can be hectic and stressful, and I'd love to help take one thing off your plate and provide you with a reliable, thoughtful pet sitter.

When I get to know a dog, I’m looking to understand their quirks. When do they eat, walk, and most importantly, get treats! Are they working on any training? Are they a sidewalk trash connoisseur and need a more watchful eye during walks? Give me a 2-page print out, a quick text, or a list on a few sticky notes - whatever’s your style - and I’ll know how to ensure a smooth stay with your child that just happens to be very hairy.
A typical day
Im happy to take your dog to the park or exercise your pet in the way they prefer. Let me know their food and care routines so I can help your pet feel comfortable while you’re out of town.

I’m currently in grad school so I would be happy to cuddle your pet while reading for class. I work a few restaurant shifts but can always plan accordingly for your pet’s needs!
