Lots of experience!
Pet care experience
I have been a dog bather for the past two years, in addition to owning several dogs throughout the course of my life. I am currently a sophomore at Colorado State University studying Animal Science on the Pre-Veternarian Track. I have watched live animal births, all the way to even participating in cattle castration.
Reviews
Jackie has a calm, confidant demeanor which matches perfectly with my cat's personality and needs. Bean was well-cared for during my absence and calm upon my return. Knowing he's with someone he likes and trusts and not anxious is wonderful. I love the frequent updates. Besides that, Jackie makes sure to keep plants alive/watered and my keeps my home tidy and clean. Highly recommend for short or long-term house/petsits but please don't book her when I need her!!!
Absolutely wonderful! Gave us complete peace of mind while we were out of town and gave our animals so much love. Simply the best!
Jackie was so reliable and trustworthy! She did a great job taking care of our two cats during the summer holidays. She was on time and communicated very well!
Jackie took wonderful care of Bean and my home. I was able to relax and enjoy my time with family knowing that Bean was being well cared for in my absence. I will be booking her again for my next trip.

Safety, trust & environment
For me, my pets are my entire world. When it comes to who is looking after my pets, I take many aspects into consideration. As a dog walker, dog sitter, etc, I really try to hold myself to the same standards that I would hold someone watching my own pets, who mean an indescribable amount to me. In addition, I think it is really important to try to keep the pets routine, even if it seems excessive or not necessary. For example, if your pet likes to, or usually eats and then goes to the bathroom in the morning, I will make sure to do it in that order. I believe that the biggest part of caring for a pet is really caring for the environment that is created for them, and making sure they feel safe where they should.
Information Jackie M. would like to know about your pet
First, I think it is most important to know about the dogs health, and age, and if there is anything that I must do to correctly care for them, or signs they may show when they need help, or are not feeling well. In addition, it is important to know about the dogs personality, and if there are anything I should try to do, and any things I should make sure not to do that could possibly upset the dog. Finally, I think it is really important to know what the dog spends most of its time doing, and it’s usual day-to-day routine.
A typical day
I love to play with dogs, especially more active dogs. I think it is important to not only walk these dogs, but I will take them to parks to play, and even play fetch if the owner permits. In addition, I think it is equally as important to just pet the dog, and really emotionally connect with them. For many dogs, having someone come into their home they don’t know can be really difficult. I want to make the dog feel comfortable, and I think from there the dog will be much more willing, and satisfied to play. Obviously for older dogs, running around may not always be the best idea, but I will make sure to still provide these dogs with the opportunity- without pushing any boundaries that could be harmful.
