Our Elphie is quite a skittish kitty and runs to hide under a bed when anyone comes to our home. Jackie was so patient with Elphie. She laid on the floor and calmly sweet talked to Elphie, slowly trying to coax her out. She did such an amazing job making Elphie feel safe enough to trust her, that she now stays out for Jackie's visits! She just loves her snuggles, ear rubs and head butts from Jackie. I truly appreciate the pictures I get with every visit. She gives me peace of mind for worry-free travel. We are so blessed to have found Whiskers and Beaks, as Jackie is trustworthy, kind, caring and well, just awesome! A first rate experience! Bringing Jackie on to assist walking my very energetic Golden was the best decision. After a lengthy unexpected illness, my dog was boarded for 3 months while I worked on gaining strength. In comes Jackie! I knew at that point I could not provide the exercise he needed. What a relief, knowing my buddy was in good hands. I'm a highly experienced obiedience trainer & absolutely recomend reaching out to her. Thank you, Jackie.
Jackie is warm hearted and loving with all animals! She pays close attention to detail and treats them as her own. I had the experience of caring for endangered birds with her and knew I could always rely on her to help with challenging tasks. I would highly recommend her to work with your pets because she is thoughtful, reliable and trustworthy!
Jackie is extremely responsible, and she loves animals - especially dogs. She has groomed our dog with loving, gentle care, and Jackie has taken our dog for long walks in the country - giving our dog plenty of time to sniff and explore the surroundings. Also, Jackie has a degree in Biology and has continued her studies; she is very intelligent and knowledgeable about animals. She has cared for our dog on overnight occasions, and she did an awesome job - managing food and medications, potty breaks, and reward treats. Jackie is highly recommended!!!

I offer individualized care depending on each pets needs. As a person with an intuitive understanding of animals, I am easily able to interpret their energy and provide the care they desire and need. I provide many updates to my clients as I care for their beloved beings and this brings much reassurance and satisfaction to the families I work with. My mom used to call me 'Snow White' because of my natural affinity with animals. I am often the person who a dog or cat knows they can come to for gentle, loving presence and care. I am comfortable taking care of many animals in a single household.

I especially love to care for WHISKERED pets (cats, dogs*, small pets). I also have experience and fascination with BIRDS (domestic and wild- in captivity and the field) and am comfortable caring for well-adapted, non-aggressive feathered friends. *Unless large dogs are well trained, I am limited to offering care to small-medium sized dogs, especially for walks. Pets who are good with children are a bonus as my son, who LOVES animals comes along with me to provide extra care and attention when it is appropriate for the pets needs. I am comfortable caring for fish and herps, but less experienced with them than other creatures. If your snake or reptile needs extra care, I am not your best option as a caretaker. I will NOT accept tarantulas or large reptiles as clients, this is in the best interest for all parties.
A typical day
I will provide your whiskered, feathered, or scaled pets with the types of enrichment they enjoy including loving pets, tossing balls and Frisbees, other forms of play, light brushing, walking and treats. I provide pet-led enrichment, paying close attention to their signals to meet their needs. If a pet is shy, I provide care that is non-intrusive and patient, often I am able to gain trust of most pets.

Availability
I'm currently a caretaker with my husband for multiple family members and am able to schedule pets in between care responsibilities. My son comes along, when it is appropriate for the pets needs, which makes balancing family and work easier, and provides extra enrichment for the pets we care for.
