Pet care experience
Rover experience for 2 years and animal lover my whole life! Raised with two dogs and have always watched my friends and family’s pets while they were away. Excited to be able to walk dogs and check in on cats now that I live further away from my family’s pets.

Jackie does an excellent job caring for my dachshund Bitsy. She is so attentive to her needs and I never have to worry when I’m away. She is the best sitter I’ve ever used. Great communication and very responsible. I have booked her multiple times and will use her services again!

With multiple experiences walking dogs and caring for cats I know each pet has unique needs and wants. Please let me know any unique requests and I’ll be happy to take care of it during my visit. I’ve been boarding dogs and cats for the past two years and have had great experiences. I only watch one dog or cat at a time unless they are from the same household. This is for the safety of the pets that we watch to ensure there is never an instance where pets do not get along. During the week I work from home so any dog or cat I’m sitting has company throughout the day. My favorite thing about pet sitting is being able to provide a loving home for your pet while you are away - And of course cuddling on the couch!

A typical day
I love to walk & hike! Doesn’t matter the weather for me, I’m outside and walking. During a usual dog walking visit, if your pup is up for it, I usually cover 1-1.5 miles. I also understand some dogs are not as interested in longer walks so I always let them lead the way and length of the walks. If we end early we play inside and I make sure they get plenty of pets, love, and attention.

Availability
Both my husband and I work from home so we are able to walk our doggy guests throughout the day, following any potty schedule that’s requested. The dogs we sit are allowed access to our offices so they can hang out with us while working throughout the day, and relax on the couch with us at night. For walks and drop in visits, I keep my calendar up to date, but please send me a quick message to verify availability. Most weekends I am also free to walk, feed, stop in and check on pets. I try my best to keep my Rover calendar very up to date!
