Pet care experience
I can’t commit to having a dog of my own because I travel a lot. So I constantly find myself volunteering to watch my friends’ dogs and figured I may as well try and make some money doing it. Plus I need an excuse to walk more in the winter. I recently trained my boyfriend’s dog to shake and lie (lay?) down, and now I consider myself a dog trainer 🤣.

Jackie is amazing! She has watched Sadie a couple times now, and has gained my full trust and appreciation. Jackie sends great updates during the stay, making it easier for me to be away. Her knowledge on dogs is great and she gives Sadie so much attention. Sadie and I are both lucky to have found Jackie!
Jackie was awesome! She sat Bowie for 4 days and spoiled him rotten. She was thorough with questions during the meet and greet, and we had excellent communication and frequent updates throughout the stay. We felt so at ease the whole time and already booked her for our next trip😅

I try to incorporate dogs into my life as much as possible. For example, if I’m running errands and the dogs like cars, I bring ‘em with! In the summers I typically go to my family’s cabin, and bring the dogs I’m watching with (with owner’s consent).

A typical day
I live just a few blocks from Winnemac park. I also have a fully fenced in yard. I love taking puppers foe walks and car rides, and basically anywhere I can bring them within my normal routine. I also own a bunch of dog toys, including a dog nerf gun. If you don’t know what it is, look it up- fun for the whole family.

I work from home every day except Tuesday. I have a really flexible schedule. I live on the second floor, so if your dog can’t so stairs, that may be a deal-breaker if I can’t carry him/her/they/them.
