Hi there! My name is Jackie and I must first confess: I love animals with a passion. So much so, I've worked in the Veterinary field for 9 years (and counting). I have an 11 year old Chihuahua myself and is very well adept to senior care and pet needs of all ages. I have two years of hands-on Veterinary Assistant experience as well which includes pet handling and dealing with dogs and cats of different sizes and temperaments. My experience includes: giving injectable medications, fluids, administering oral medications, bandage changes, anal gland expressions, and monitoring (temperatures, respiratory, heart rates - whether it be from post surgeries, injuries or illnesses). By the way, I'm no stranger to pet clean up and potty breaks! I'm very committed in making sure I gain your pet's trust first and foremost, personalizing my care to his/her's needs. I find it very crucial to start all pet relationships from a place of love and positivity. It's my mission to make pets feel the most comfortable and that's at a home or area where they are familiar while you are away.
