I’ve had dogs of my own for the past 9 years all with different needs. I had a dog who had behavioral issues, 1 with fear issues, and 1 who is a working therapy dog. I volunteer with a local dog rescue and have fostered upwards of 30 puppies and adult dogs.

Jackie did such an amazing job and really helped us out in a bind. Both Harley and Barkley loved her and enjoyed their visits. We will absolutely be requesting Jackie in the future.
Jackie has been fostering dogs and puppies for the past 3 years. She’s extremely knowledgeable when it comes to training. She treats her fosters like her own and works hard to help socialize them with people and with other dogs.
I’ve been through several dog walkers/sitters but could not find someone my dogs accepted or would listen to. They are very scared of strangers and refuse to return to crates for anyone but me. Finally had Jackie over and my dogs love her! I can FINALLY relax when I’m gone and they are in Jackie’s care. She’s the best!

I have a split level home so I have an area where I can keep clients separate from my own dogs if need be. I’m active and constantly walking my own dogs through the neighborhood and the local park.

Information Jackie H. would like to know about your pet
If your dog has aggression or guarding issues, I will be unable to take them in my home but will happily visit your home for drop in visits/backyard play and walks. I’ve trained many dogs and while I feel confident interacting with them, I wouldn’t feel comfortable for my kids to do so. Our pets are up to date on vaccines and necessary tests; we accept dogs in our home who are vaccinated age appropriately (unless there is a medical reason for them not being vaccinated).
A typical day
Our home backs up to a park which runs about 5-6 miles. We take our own pups on walks in the park and in the neighborhood. I have 3 kids who love to play with our own dogs and our fosters (when we have one). We continually talk with them about safety around other peoples’ dogs and how to read dog body language.

Availability
I’m a teacher, so I’m off during the summer. During the school year, I’m home by 3:30 and am home for the most part on the weekends.
