Schedule update as of March 1st 2024: To all my repeat clients, I am fully booked now for March and will not be hosting April and May so my next availability will be in June. Please check out my dates available in June under the ‘Services’ section. Hope to see you then. I’ve been a host on Rover for two years and using Rover since my Atticus was a puppy. It’s been great fun meeting new pups of all sizes, personalities, and breeds. I only host part time during the month so hopefully our schedules align and I’m best for backup when your usual support system is unavailable. I typically keep to 1 or 2 guest dogs so space will be limited and operate on a first come first serve basis. I do not host pit bulls at this time and Huskies have been a problem with Atticus. Mixed breeds are ok. I do not use crates so if your pup prefers their crate it’s best to bring along for their stay. Unfortunately my pup does not do well with children so we need to limit meet and greets to teenagers and older.

You are lucky if you get Jackie! She is knowledgeable, experienced, organized and reliable. Jackie took great care of Ginger to help her feel calm and work through her anxiousness. Jackie is communicative and sends pictures throughout the day. I’m thankful to have had the opportunity for Jackie to watch my sweet Ginger.
Jackie was fantastic. We made a last minute booking and she accommodated us and took such good care of Kishmish!

We have a large fenced yard with lots of grass. There is plenty of room to run and play in the yard. My Atticus is heading into his senior years and does not interact with other dogs anymore so either myself or another Rover guest get to spend some quality time with yours. We stick to a routine and after the first 24hrs guest dogs know exactly what to expect and feel comfortable.

Feeding times and typical sleeping patterns are good to know and we will make every effort to keep to a similar schedule. Allergies are also important to know. Atticus eats mostly raw and cooked food so special diets are easily accommodated.
A typical day
Always playtime in the backyard with strolls through the neighborhood. Depending on the weather and schedule, AT trail and Jordan Lake are also fun field trips. We will always have something to do. Not to mention toys are always more fun when they’re not your own!

Availability
I work from home full time. Breaks and playtime are easy to fit in the day. Early mornings are our specialty and always go for a long walk in the morning so pups are settled to get some work done. Additional walks through the neighborhood during the day and playtime in the backyard is a typical day. With that said, we are not the best fit for late evening pickups (after 9:30pm).
