My friends, family, and neighbors all know how much I love animals and have always asked me to watch their pets when they are away. Over the last 35 years, I have had mutts and purebreds, strays and rescues, large and small. I am comfortable with all breeds as long as they have a good temperament. I have spent many happy years breeding some of my AKC dogs and raising litters of puppies. I am currently the owner of only 1 dog (I have always had 3 or 4) for the first time in 35 years! Daisy is a playful 10 year old Beagle and she really enjoys the company of other dogs. We are an all adult, smoke free, pet loving household. It will be our pleasure to care for and hang out with your dogs or puppies. I will provide your dogs with love, affection, care and exercise when they are in my safekeeping. And Daisy will have someone to play with! Dogs are welcome in the house, but have free choice to be outside during the day. Unfortunately, I am unable to take non-potty trained dogs as we have many carpeted areas. Outside, we have a huge, multi-level, 1/2 acre, fully fenced backyard for playing fetch and chase or just exploring. There is a large patio with a solid patio cover and shady places in the grass to nap. We have a large doggie door that exits from the laundry room into a grassy side yard that can be closed off for safety or left open to roam the whole yard. Our yard is a work in progress and we have some areas where we are building block stairs and walls. We also have had to remove some grass due to the current watering restrictions and will be converting that area to hardscape, bark chips and drought tolerant plants, so there are some dirt areas. The entire 1/2 acre yard is pet friendly and the dogs can romp all over the whole thing. Your dogs will have a lot of outside time here - we work and play quite a bit in the backyard. I take the dogs out multiple times a day to run, play, and get their exercise. Inside time is more laid back. Dogs watch me cook and get belly rubs while I watch TV. Our Daisy chooses to sleep in the laundry room, living room, or outside depending upon the weather, but your pets are welcome to sleep in my bedroom if they need that to feel comfortable. Your dog will be another happy, loved member of the family here while getting plenty of fresh air and exercise. **Daisy is a lover, not a fighter, so aggressive dogs need not apply.** *Out of respect for my neighbors, I can not watch chronic barkers* **Please locate your dog's vaccine records or ask your vet to fax them to me** *I am unable to watch adult males that have not been neutered and females in heat* **Puppies under 1 year are the exception and do not need to be spayed or neutered.** We are conveniently located off of Rancho California Road in central Temecula.
