I am a proud, card-carrier of pet-sitting/dog walking insurance, and am happy to provide details, if needed. I have also completed the American Red Cross Cat and Dog First Aid course. I travel with a pet first-aid kit. As a toddler, I played with my two Great Danes and later earned the trust of two feral cats, who eventually became part of our family. I have had animal family members, and have cared for other animals, ever since. I am comfortable with all breeds, ages, and sizes of dogs and cats. I take care of some pocket pets, as well. I am detail-oriented (almost to a fault), so you can feel confident in the accurate administering of medications, as well as in all other aspects of your fur baby's well-being. I walk with caution and am mindful of how hot the pavement is, any pesticide signs, poisonous toads and snails, and other willdlife. I think beyond 30 minute increments. If you are out of town and there is an emergency (flight delay, storm, etc), I will ALWAYS work with you to ensure there is a contingency plan for your fur baby. Your fur baby is my responsibility the ENTIRE time you are away...not just for the 1/2 hour slots you book me for. I will also do what I can to ensure you have what you need, should you be away while an unexpected hurricane or the like is on the horizon. I would prefer to meet your pet prior to booking any services, but I understand that emergencies arise. I don't want your pet to be stuck at home without any care, so I will book without a meet and greet under certain circumstances. I do not double-book, so you never have to worry about your dog going for a walk with another client's dog. Your pet(s) will have my undivided attention and will receive a lot of love.
